General Information
Harmony Headlands State Park is a stunningly beautiful 784 acre coastal park located approximately 5 minutes north of the coastal community of Cayucos in San Luis Obispo County on Highway One.
On November 26, 2008, Harmony Headlands State Park was opened for day use visitation. The park is open daily, from 6am to sunset. As outlined in State Park rules and regulations dogs, horses and bikes are not allowed in the park. Additionally, there are no camping or ground fires allowed anywhere in the park.
A small parking lot is visible along the west side adjacent to the southbound lane of Highway One. The parking lot can accommodate approximately 10 vehicles. Coming from the south, look for the Linn’s Fruit Bin billboard just 5 miles north of Cayucos. The parking lot is across the highway from the sign.
A one and half mile trail from the parking lot extends west to coastal marine terrace grassland with steep hills and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
There are no services available other than a portable restroom next to a small historic ranch house near the beginning of the trail. Cell phone service is sparse.

Welcome to the Harmony Headlands Collaborative Blog
Just back from another fabulous hike at the Harmony Headlands. I felt inspired on this warm, sunny day to start the Harmony Headlands blog, where our volunteers and friends can share stories, ideas and photos. This is a collaborative blog. If you'd like to join (we hope you will) please become a follower first. Then send us a comment simply saying: I want to blog about the Harmony Headlands, too. If you just want to read, enjoy, and post an occasional comment that's fine too.
